About The Mana
The mana is an ironic representation of the biblical content that refers to the little independence that some people decide to have over their future. They wait for a second entity to grant them everything they need for their survival and do not strive to carve their own path. That is why they willingly receive the miseries that their supplier grants them. In this case, “help” is represented by a stale bread, illuminated as a divided object and it is delivered by the figure in the upper section to those who wait anxiously in the lower part of the work.
